How can Thrive help my business?

Thrive is here to support you to make your business the best it can be. Whether you are looking for ways to increase your turnover, grow your business or just do things more efficiently so that you can spend more time on the things you enjoy doing, Thrive can help.

If you are a sole trader, micro business, limited company or FSB member in Somerset (excluding BANES), contact us to join this workshop series. Funding from the European Regional Development Funds (ERDF) means this is completely free to eligible businesses in the Heart of the South West area.

All sessions will be online. Businesses are welcome to attend all or some for the six workshops in this series. These workshops will be delivered on consecutive Tuesdays through February and March 2022.

Finance and Leadership: What will it cover?

Working in partnership with the FSB, Thrive will deliver a series of six workshops around the themes of finance and leadership. These webinars will cover the following topics:

Covering the different financial statements you need for your business, the differences between them and examples of how to use them.
  • Costing and Pricing – 8 February, 9.30am
This workshop works through the fundamentals of finance, exploring the key elements of costing, pricing and the breakeven point and its application within your business.

In this workshop, you will gain an understanding of how to manage your Cashflow effectively, including activities and templates that you can use and implement within your wider business finance management.
  • Business Leadership and Management – 1 March, 9.30am
This workshop will help you to understand the skills and qualities that are essential for all leaders and managers. It looks at the different techniques you may adopt, including how to motivate and develop your team, maximise your time, increase your efficiency and invest in your own professional development.
