Over the past 4 months, the Growth Hub and Get Up To Speed have partnered with various business support partners to deliver a series of fully-funded digital toolkit events across Devon, Plymouth, Somerset & Torbay.

This inspiring event was filled with thought-provoking ideas, digital trends and useful tips and tools! Delivered in jargon-free language, by Cosmic, the event was aimed at non-techie, small to medium sized businesses that have an interest in how to practically apply the latest in digital technology.

The free-to-attend event explored:

  • How will the face of work change over the next 5-10 years?
  • New technologies for small businesses
  • Benefits of flexible working
  • The Internet of Things
  • Blockchain, Bitcoins and cryptocurrencies
  • Cyber trends
  • Digital marketing developments

With two bonus topics also included taster sessions on the use of Microsoft Office 365 vs Google GSuite – which one best suits your business? and An introduction to managing projects with free online tools.

Heart of the South West Growth Hub business advisers were on hand to provide further support and information about publicly funded and part-funded business support programmes, grants and opportunities were applicable to delegates.

If you are interested in attending a similar workshop, please see our events directory.

Thank You to each organisation that helped to facilitate and deliver such an informative and innovative series of workshops. The feedback we have received and demand to put on similar events speaks for itself.
