The Environmental Land Management (ELM) scheme is the cornerstone of the new agricultural policy for England. ELM is founded on the principle of “public money for public goods”.
We want to hear your views about ELM policy and design.
The ELM Policy Discussion Document was published on Tuesday 25th February to start a 10-week national conversation to help shape the future of this scheme in England. You can view the document at: https://consult.defra.gov.uk/elm/elmpolicyconsultation
During the Policy Discussion period, we are running 6 interactive online seminars. These events are for farmers, foresters and land managers in England only. The webinars will give an overview of our proposals for ELM and provide an opportunity for you to discuss them with us. Your feedback will help shape our scheme design.
