The workshop will be led by Emily Lambert, Trade Advisor from The Department For International Trade. In this special 3hr session we’ll be covering how to health check your business and think about the components of a robust export plan, the best way to structure your international market research and how to make the most of this while international trade is limited.
Day 1: Introduction to Export
We’ll go through some of the benefits and barriers of exporting, talk about how to health check your business and think about the components of a good export plan.
Day 2: International Market Research
How can you select the best market for your goods or services? We’ll discuss the best way to structure your research, how to make the most of desk research while international travel is limited and where you can find more information and support.
Emily Lambert is a Trade Advisor for the Department for International Trade (DIT), providing workshops for small companies who would like to begin exporting. She is currently delivering the Export Academy, a series of webinars covering topics such as routes to market, Customs procedures and pricing strategy. Prior to joining DIT, Emily worked in both commercial and operational roles in the defence and security sector.
