Now available for businesses (or anyone thiking of sstarting a new business) – there are 5 brand new iPads which busines related individuals can loan for a period of one month for free! (All you need is a library card – if you haven’t got one, just take some ID along to any Somerset library and staff will arrange this for you).

The tablets have been pre-loaded with a selection of apps, links and tools to help you if you are starting or growing your business see here for more details, or just visit Minehead Library where staff will be happy to help.

Some of the things you can do with the tablets include:-

  • Explore the world of Social Media (do you have your own Twitter/Facebook/Instagram account set up yet?)
  • Consider setting up or improving your business website
  • Use the ‘Digital Readiness Tool’ to see how you rate and get some great tips for climbing the digital ladder
  • Explore online banking for your business for quick, easy access to your accounts and a better experience for your customers
  • Links to the Growth Hub and COBRA (online toolkit with ‘how to’ guides for all business sectors)
