Torridge District Council, in partnership with SaveTheHighStreet.org and Bideford Town Council, has launched an exciting initiative to support local entrepreneurs. LaunchBideford is a new competition designed to help new and expanding businesses establish themselves in the heart of Bideford.
At least two successful applicants will receive six months of free space in Butchers Row at Bideford Pannier Market, giving them a fantastic opportunity to grow their business in a vibrant marketplace. In addition to free rent and rates—together worth nearly £2,000—winners will also benefit from hands-on expert support to help them thrive.
At the end of the six-month ‘incubation’ period, participants can either apply for a longer lease with Bideford Town Council or move on to their next venture. This initiative is designed to boost local businesses, encourage entrepreneurship, and enhance Bideford’s thriving market community.
