The Npower Super Powered Business Competition is administered by Trinity Mirror Plc and Npower and supports the growth and development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from across the UK. One selected applicant will win a cash prize of £5,000 as well as business growth mentoring.

Businesses need to employ less than 250 people and demonstrate that they are:

  • Innovative: doing something creative that other businesses have not previously considered
  • Successful: doing something that makes a substantial difference either to the bottom line or in day-to-day management
  • Engaging: there is something distinctive and memorable about the business that other SMEs would be interested in hearing abou
