Plymouth Enterprise Week, led by the University of Plymouth in partnership with a wide variety of stakeholders takes place from 12–16 November and aims to celebrate enterprise, business growth and new ideas in the city and beyond. The majority of the events are free to attend and are open to everyone.
Events this year include a series of workshops from Google on how to develop social media, understand business data and building a digital marketing plan. Workshops are also being offered on setting up your own business, funding support, intellectual property and the power of you as your personal brand. There are also some excellent networking opportunities with a business breakfast at the start of the week, Plymouth’s first city centre #LinkedinLocal event and finishing the week with ‘Make it your business’ an event to support females is setting up their own business.
The packed programme contributes to what is now known as Global Entrepreneurship Week, which takes place every November and plays a critical role worldwide in encouraging young entrepreneurs to consider starting up their own business and explore their potential as innovators.
