BUILD A BRIGHTER FUTURE FOR YOUR FAMILY FARM BUSINESS

The Prince’s Farm Resilience Programme offers FREE business skills training and advice to family farms in 15 locations across the UK each year. Through a series of workshops and one to one support, it will help you to ensure that you are making the most of your business for a more efficient and sustainable future.

Livestock farm businesses in the following areas are invited to apply to join this unique 2018/2019 programme.

North of the A30 in West Devon, Torridge, Mid Devon and North Devon

What does it involve?

  • Join a local group of up to 20 like-minded family farms.
  • Benefit from business skills workshops delivered by expert consultants.
  • Group workshops on the following subjects;
    • finance and business planning
    • succession planning
    • change management (in light of Agriculture Bill 2018)
    • alternative bedding and forage strategies
    • the value of environmental activities as “public goods”
    • subject of the groups choice
  • Receive support to complete a Business Health Check to measure current costs, and see where you could make savings.
  • Receive one to one support to look at implementing change and ideas on your farm.

Livestock farm businesses in the following areas are invited to apply to join this unique 2018/2019 programme.

Any members of the family or partners involved in the farm are welcome to attend workshops.

When does the programme run?

The programme is completely free, and is aimed at beef, sheep, or dairy farming families to join by October 15th 2018, delivered by national consultants and facilitated locally by Stewart Horne of Business Information Point.
