Since its launch in 2014, RGB Building Supplies’ Well Built Community Fund has supported 29 charities, schools, projects and community groups by donating £1,000 worth of building materials every other month.

With the construction industry facing a skills shortage, RGB is celebrating its 30th giveaway by inviting those who help young people learn a trade to apply for £1,000 to spend at one of its branches across the South West. Whether that’s by enabling a college to update their tools, or a community project to purchase materials to benefit training.

If this is something you could benefit from, or you know a group/project that deserves a bit of help, then please get in contact.

To nominate, simply give details about what you do and how the donation would be used. Nominations can be emailed to RGB@pmwcom.co.uk, or alternatively posted to:

The closing date to submit a nomination for this giveaway is Sunday 30th June.

From all the nominations received, a selection will be chosen to go through to a vote where the public will be asked to decide who will receive the donation of materials.

Until February 2020, RGB will also be inviting groups to apply for £1,000 worth of decorating supplies, tools and building materials, timber and landscaping products, as well as £1,000 to help transform a kitchen or bathroom area.
