Awards for businesses, social enterprises and charities, including cash prizes and expert guidance, to recognise and support innovative technology for social good.

The Vodafone Techstarter Social Innovation Award has a total prize fund of £300,000 to support tech ventures on a mission to make a difference in the areas of health and well-being, education, environment, social mobility and inequality.

Applications can be made by for-profit and not-for-profit organisations, including charities, social enterprises and CICs.

The award will identify and support innovative tech businesses and organisations that are developing products and services that will help tackle social challenges. The aim is to help get innovative early-stage ideas to a marketable stage.

The prize fund for the 2018 programme will be distributed as follows:

For-profit Vodafone Techstarter Award – four winners will each receive £35,000 and a 12-month programme of support and value-in-kind

Not-for-profit Vodafone Techstarter Award – four winners will each receive £35,000 and a 12-month programme of support and value-in-kind

Vodafone Techstarter Champion’s Award – two winners, voted by Vodafone employees, will each receive £10,000

Applicants will need to submit a 90-second pitch video as part of their Stage 1 application.
