Small grants generally up to £2,500 to support UK registered charities and community and voluntary groups for small-scale projects with a community emphasis that would find it hard to obtain funding elsewhere.

Applications can be made at any time.

The Wakeham Trust is particularly interested in helping small scale local projects in the UK that would find it hard to get funding from big trusts, or are currently unfashionable or unpopular among mainstream funders, but are making a real contribution to the local community. The Trust is particularly keen to support projects that encourage the empowerment of ordinary, non-professional people.
