Mid Devon District Council’s 2025 Green Enterprise Grants have opened for small and medium sized businesses in Mid Devon.
The scheme offers capital grants of up to 50% of the cost of investments that shrink the annual carbon footprint of an enterprise. Grants can be from £500 up to £5,000. Mid Devon Council will not accept applications for projects where the total cost exceeds £24,999.
The new £30,000 scheme is funded by Mid Devon Council’s climate and sustainability budget, and by driving local investment it will help achieve a Corporate Plan annual target to attract £100,000 of external funding to help reduce emissions in Mid Devon. The Green Enterprise Grant scheme builds upon a Local Growth Fund supported pilot that provided grants to five Mid Devon Businesses during 2024-2025.
Through their Green Enterprise Grants, Mid Devon Council wish to support projects that deliver savings in greenhouse gas emissions either directly from investing in energy efficiency and renewable energy or by, for example, saving water and other resources or materials.
