Airbnb has announced a new £1 million ‘Best of British’ fund, designed to support the stays, experiences and attractions that make Britain unique. 20 successful applicants could receive grants of up to £100,000 to help bring their project to life. Hospitality businesses across the UK are invited to apply and the fund is open to initiatives of all sizes that contribute to the visitor experience and showcase what makes British travel special.
Eligible projects should fit into one or more of the following categories:
Nature & Outdoors – encouraging visitors to explore the UK’s rich and diverse landscapes
Food & Dining – celebrating the best of UK food culture, from pubs and street food to fine dining
Music & Arts – highlighting the UK’s creative influence through local festivals, theatre or cultural stories
Culture & Heritage – protecting, restoring or celebrating the nation’s history and traditions
