Morledge & Co. is a Marketing & PR agency based in Somerset, led by award-winning communications specialist Karen Morledge. With a small, experienced team, the consultancy works with businesses across the South West to strengthen their reputation, raise their profile, and communicate more effectively. Karen is a Somerset Chamber board member and regularly delivers PR workshops and training for SMEs. She approached the Growth Hub after meeting the team at a ‘Digital Link’ AI event, looking for support in streamlining and refocusing her multiple business ventures and revenue streams.

Karen accessed a free (fully funded) session, delivered by Digital Business Adviser, Peter. The discussion centred around her current business model and future ambitions. They explored how digital tools could support her work-life balance, and how to bring greater clarity and structure to her revenue streams.

A key part of the session focused on pricing strategies and the client digital journey, specifically how Karen positioned her service packages and developed proposals for new business. The session also provided a sounding board for reviewing and strengthening her new business development processes.

Karen left the session with a renewed sense of direction and practical next steps. She immediately put the advice into action, revitalising their service packages and secured a substantial new contract within days.

Karen says ‘As a result of our work together, I secured a new client / project this week. The new fees and services document came into its own as I agreed a large contract with a Somerset-based company that will be engaging us on a 12-month retainer, along with additional project work.‘
