Somerset’s business leaders are invited to help shape the future of the county’s economy at the Future of Somerset Business Breakfast, taking place on Wednesday 16 July at Haynes Motor Museum, Sparkford.
Delivered by the Great South West Partnership and Somerset Chamber of Commerce, the event will bring together business leaders, investors, and policy-makers for a high-level conversation on growth, investment, and the development of Somerset’s new economic strategy.
A panel discussion will explore key challenges and opportunities for the region, featuring Clive Higgins, CEO and Chair at Leonardo UK; Sarah Green, Managing Director at Marston Foods; Sam Harper, Director of Planning at Stantec; Cllr Mike Rigby, Lead Member for Economic Development, Planning and Assets at Somerset Council; and Rebecca Bevins, Head of HR at Numatic.
This event is the first of the 2025 Great South West Regional Roadshow series, uniting public and private sector leaders across the region to strengthen the South West’s voice, and position it at the forefront of the UK’s clean and inclusive growth agenda. Further Roadshows will be held in Devon, Cornwall, and Dorset later this year.
