If you’re aged 18 to 30 and have a business idea you’d like to explore, The King’s Trust offers a dedicated programme to help young people across the UK take their first steps into self-employment.
The Enterprise programme provides free support for those who want to turn their idea into a reality. It includes one-to-one mentoring, business guidance, support to develop a business plan and cashflow forecast, and post-launch advice for up to three years.
Participants can also access funding opportunities, including a Test My Business Grant of up to £500 and a start-up funding package. This package may include a grant of up to £5,000 and a loan of between £500 and £25,000. In total, eligible young entrepreneurs could access up to £30,000 in start-up support, depending on the viability of the business and affordability.
